The insurance packages must differ significantly by country. I reviewed the insurance coverage that comes with my Canadian card the other day and found that it's not nearly as bad as I had been led to believe. It has 17-day travel medical, 31-day CDW for vehicles up to $65 000, baggage delay and loss (including theft), trip cancellation, trip delay, unexpected return home, etc. The only thing I would like to see added is flight delay insurance.
