I am so sorry that you all are failing to understand the beauty and glory of a proper retsina. I drank a large quantity of it when I lived in Athens and have appreciated it ever since. My spouse will not touch it, but that is her loss too. The historical origins with leaky amphorae and ancient preservation are interesting too. really on a very hot day with a plate of grilled squid and sardines nothing can beat it...except maybe some ouzo to begin.
