-when you purchase flowers online, and do so because getting a big mileage bonus is the primary motivator for buying flowers online
-when you have to lie to a seatmate about your Mileage Run
-when you're using inflight wifi to plan an MR, plan an award ticket, buy something through an online mileage portal, or other activity that would result in earning miles while on inflight wifi
-when asked for what you want for a Christmas gift, you tell them to either buy you miles, or better yet, have them give you cash so you can buy miles and use your own mileage earning credit card
-when you stay up until 2am central time so you can see your AA mileage account update
