same thing happened to me earlier - fortunately seats will still available so I booked a fresh ticket on the lower 9WK select fare and insisted on a full refund on my other ticket (which I got anyway as a 9W plat, but for a my family member who was Gold this took some fighting - I commented that this wasn't the product I had paid for and got a supervisor to waive the cancellation charge, which was only Rs. 750 but it was the principle of it).
