Do these machines take non-chipped U.S. credit cards? The ticket machines at the CDG RER station don't, so we had to get ours at a staffed window, though we used them elsewhere in France without difficulty.
Sometimes they work for us, sometimes they don't. I should say didn't since now I just go to a manned ticket booth in the off hours to use my US issued credit card as I got tired of the hassle of trying to use the machines.
BTW, there was a recent report that the machines at CDG that sell RER tix DO accept us issued cards now. I haven't tried any yet so I can't verify that info but it would be a welcome change for the likely thousands who stand in that slow moving line for the ticket booth every day.
