Maybe but it's been open now almost four months and I at least am disappointed to read that there are still service issues. For a hotel of this level (and price), service is a major part of what's paid for.

To take a trivial example - how hard is it, for example, to arrange for refills of coffee and OJ during the breakfast service which happens every single day ? This in a country like Japan where service is usually exceptional.

The StR OSA needs to seriously raise its game and fast. People won't keep giving it the benefit of the doubt...
Everyone likes a different kind of service. At a buffet, I prefer to asked my drink choice when I'm seated, and for plates to be cleared when I stand to get another. Otherwise, I prefer to raise my finger to attract staff if we require anything, rather than be interrupted every 2 minutes. Afterall, it's a buffet, not a la carte. Of course, this is just my preference, and only at buffets.

I inspected this property last month and felt that the suites were not necessarily the best upgrade. The supervisor who showed us around even mentioned that the different shape of certain rooms, and the openness, was preferred by many to a suite. I tend to agree.
