Make sure you understand the difference between blackout dates which American Airlines does not have, and capacity controls which all airline frequent flyer programs use.

Do you mean points which can be transferred into the frequent flyer programs of many different airlines and redeemed subject to to the restrictions of each program -or- do you mean a program which will buy you a ticket on any airline? There is no program that will guarantee a ticket on any flight you choose for a fixed a number of miles or points.
