Well I use the Delta App from time to time, but it's not all that handy for things like seat changes, IRROPS, upgrade status, or, well, anything really. No, I take that back - you can take a picture of where you parked your car and store that. And you can see that your flight is late even though you are already at the airport.
As for the SkyTeam App, it displays the same incorrect information on which carousel has my bag as the DTW screens. For local weather, I just use Weatherbug or Weather Channel. It does display flights schedules, but that's kind of wonky as well.
Both apps are in serious need of a refresh by someone who actually flys and needs useful input as a traveller. Until then, they aren't going to cut it as a single-source location for all things.
Just my 2 pennies, though.
