It was a great month to get married in, but it has always been a difficult time to find a place to get get away to for a few days (without the children).

We have narrowed our choices down to three places:

The Rosewood Mayakoba (good Virtuoso pricing)
The Grand Velas Riviera Maya (a little more $$ but AI)
or
The Koa Kea Hotel in Kauai, Hawaii (great deal on Luxury Link)

Since we live in California, the flight to either location is about the same.

While none of the three are truly adults only, they all have parts to the resorts that will at least limit the chance of a crying baby etc.

I'd be interested to see what others on the board would do given my choices, and if any strike a chord with you.

Thanks
It's actually easier to get non-stop to LIH than to CUN; United only has one non-stop per week to Cancun. Alaska will be starting non-stop service to Lihue from OAK, and UA serves LIH as well from SFO.

Rosewood is much nicer than Grand Velas, in my opinion.
