I can't really say much about the other places but I can just about guarantee that the FS Costa Rica will have many families with children staying there. The resort (like many FS properties) seems to cater to families at the expense of those looking for peace and quiet.

There is a small adults-only pool, but when we were there this was also overrun with children.

You may get lucky because there are no school holidays in early November, but I am always amazed at the amount of families at resorts even when school should be in session.
