I have no idea how it is calculated either. I haven't picked up my Platinum card mailing yet but when I do I'll check if there's anything in there about how it's calculated.

The top level in mlife is "noir", so add MGM to the long list of companies attempting to capitalize on "black card" marketing. It is an invite-only tier reserved for the biggest losers in the system. Be glad you're not in that tier.

To be honest I'm done with the MGM family anyway. They're just losing too much money on City Center and are cutting anywhere and everywhere they can. I've played almost exclusively at Bellagio for 5 years and as I mentioned previously in other threads, my comps at Bellagio have been terrible since last March or so - this despite having my highest ADT ever - and a host admitted to me last summer that they had been instructed by execs to slash comps.
