So, there is a happy ending to this story.

After 12 days of being delayed it was delivered yesterday around midnight. Earlier in the day I received a phone call stating it was located in a cage associated with a different airline. It never did leave JFK, was never opened by TSA, and the person on the phone kept saying it wasn't Delta's, but T4's fault.

Needless to say I'm very happy to have the suitcase back, especially after everyone at Delta kept suggesting I file a police report, since it seems to have been stolen.

But they sure did ruin our vacation
