hmmm this could annoy me. Since I don't have a local branch in my state, I called Chase in mid December and they told me I could open an account online and then covert my card on the website. After opening an account online, I attempted to convert my debit card and I was greeted with a message telling me it was unable to convert my card. I called Chase between Christmas and New Years and was then told I needed to wait 30 days after opening my account to convert my debit card to a onepass debit card.

Now, after reading this - it looks like I can't even do that?

I'm more irritated that none of the services reps would indicate to me that I was never going to be able to convert my card in time.

It won't help you or make you feel better, but I'm sure the service reps were not in on future card offerings.
