5th day and Delta still has no information on the bag, except that it was last scanned at check-in on 12/29 and is most likely sitting at JFK. Ok, if it's still sitting at JFK but wasn't scanned, that still means that when I arrive back to JFK on 1/6 I won't be able to pick it up. If the tag is torn off, how friggin' difficult is it to call me, since it's a hard shell luggage with my # written on it with a sharpie in two different places and with my husband's #/last name written inside the pull out handle?

How that happens to a bag going on a non-stop flight is beyond me
