As you can imagine JFK is a mess right now. My flight was canceled on Sunday after being on the tarmac (anyone else on DL 3?). I canceled the trip on Monday, but bags still left for LHR. The status was unknown for 24 hours, this morning it showed that they landed in JFK. A friendly agent said it'll be at least 24-48 hours before I get them back.
I'd give it another day & see if they make it out on the next BCN flight tonight.
Yeah, it's a mess. But a non-friggin'-stop flight, and I was the only one on the flight whose bag didn't turn up. I watched the bag go through the scanner after which it got loaded and wheeled off with the rest of its "mates".
It didn't make it on the BCN flight tonight. That they know, which makes me think the tag is torn off, since they have no idea where it is, except that it wasn't on the next-day (today's) flight out of JFK.
