this is one of my biggest peeves with delta - please give me a confirmation that a fare is refundable right before i purchase, and please give me a clear notation in my ticket record after i bought it.

my business plans frequently require me to change my travel plans (between 33% and 50% of my trips), sometimes more than once for the same trip, so i must book refundable tickets. but i also have plenty of trips that are fixed, which don't justify the added expense of refundable tickets (although the price difference is not always obvious). if i'm booking both kinds of trips at the same time, it'd be nice to see a confirmation right before i book. even if i'm not, it'd be nice to have a reminder just in case i forgot to click the "refundable fare" button at the beginning. and if one of those "fixed" trips happens to change, it'd be nice to be able to look at my ticket quickly to tell whether it was refundable or not, before wasting 20 minutes on the phone to delta.
