Do you still have the BPs with the CO OP#?
My recent US flights have credited 48 hours or so after the flights.
On OAL (other air line) *A flights I make sure to verify that my BP shows my CO OP#. If it doesn't show, I ask for it to be added, though that's usually not an issue. I also keep my BPs until the flights post. Actually, I print the BPs to PDF or XPS and keep them "forever". For mobile BPs I keep a screen grab of the bar code.

Same here.
However, I have not had any trouble switching to exit seats at the airport, both in US clubs and with regular and contract (e.g. HPN) airport agents.
