I think that was couple months ago when DL announced new routes from JFK/BOS-CDG or anywhere else. I wasn't sure about this one. I think that was in earlier November when DL announced for next new TATL flight.
I believe BOS-CDG was announced when MIA/BOS-LHR was confirmed by the DOT.

At first I was surprised by int'l flights out of Logan Term A (i.e. AMS, LHR, CUN and now CDG) but it looks like BOS could develop as a good reliever for JFK on TATL itins. Makes perfect sense to me, and there seems to be plenty of capacity at Logan A for this to develop. The only glitch in this scenario is that arrivals have to go to Customs at Term E, which isn't too bad but would be better if there could be int'l entry at A.
DL wanted to have customs at A when the building was massively renovated in 2005, but Massport rejected the request. I fully support the idea of having a second customs center for Terminals A and B, while having the Terminal E customs expanding to cover Terminal C.
