I've been to the IL a few times, stayed at the Corner Suite and the Vista Suite along with stays in rooms. My parents have been visiting since before I was born but no longer do. My lady lives in the US and I've mentioned to her when we get a chance to spend some time in Europe the Napoleon Suite is the first place we will be. It's not that I dislike the hotel, it is a magical place but as I've spent more and more of my time in hotels it's not so much the facade that impresses but the little details, the treatment you get and the staff in general.

I compare my parents attitude to the Cavalieri to the Conrad Tokyo. Ever since we left they've been trying to get me to take them back, high praise indeed
