Maybe the way is like LHPII said: LH wants to get rid of the last C customers. They just add complexity to the product. They are demanding. It is easier for LH and the FA to just have Y customers. They can be treated badly, because the ticket was so cheap. They need no meal or attention.
AB or DB just may be a great alternative!
At LHPII: The wardrobe service was ended in 2006? Really? I got it on every flight in the past (yes I had lots of Domestic C Segments). Yes it was a reason to fly C.
