i am sure this is probably a pretty basic question to y'all, but i am still somewhat new re: how to use everything here.

here is my question/situation. i frequently see responses like "please go see [url that redirects you to a prior thread]". how can i generate those and save them for future use?

for example today there are some postings in different forums that i know i will want to refer to in a year or so. how can i save the url where these items are so that i do not have to go slogging through the search engine next year hoping to find what i am looking for?
