Thanks for the steer, I will check it out. And funny you should mention Sarge's. I'll be in Manhattan a week from Sunday night, arriving late, with my teenage son courtesy of the Expedia.ca SAVE300 deal, and we're staying a short putt from Sarge's, and I'm planning to take my deli-crazy boy there. Haven't been in years, can't wait.

I have to agree with you. When Goldberg's opened they did a lot of radio advertising proclaiming their authenticity, and we went out there to Factoria mall hell to give it a try. Aargh. Not even my kid bought it (the Carnegie is his baseline).
