One doesn't sync an iPhone to an iPad wirelessly or not. What confuses me is the syncing of contacts and calendar on an iPhone to any physical device. I occasionally back up my iPhone and sync music, etc to a notebook but at few and far between intervals. Calendar and contacts no, that is all over the web so I don't do it to a notebook or iPad. I hadn't even thought of doing that. I thought everyone used Google except a few like me who used Exchange.
