Bulkheads on 777 - Acceptable Crossover Point?

Just wondering what the general consensus is, from the AE forum-ites.

For those of us who must travel with the plebes on long-haul flights, is the space in front of 18/30/50 DEG an acceptable space to crossover from aisle to aisle (usually to utilize the "other" washroom).

Always? Never? What if somebody has their laptop plugged into the power plug on the bulkhead wall? Should you have to ask the person seated?

Curious to hear people's take on it, especially since AC charges Prestige and under a fee (and is an E/SE "benefit") to occupy these seats.

Whenever I get stuck in Y, I will pay extra to be seated in the bulkhead seats. I've always had people either a) not bother to go through or b) graciously ask if they could sneak through -- and there has been no issue.

For the record, I was seated in 30D and a gentleman moved my belongings without asking so he could see if the other lavs were free. When he found out they were not, he then did the same thing to return to his original aisle. When confronted, the gentlemen said that I should be "obliged" to let him pass through because I had more space in my row than his.
