Thought I'd update this thread since it's the 6 month mark with this card.

After 6 months, I've spent about $20K on this CC.

However, due to around a 50% acceptance rate with the places I go to, I've had to put about another $20K on the Aerogold. I also found that international acceptance (meaning outside Cda/US) was lower than 50%.

So, yes, I do miss the old MBNA SPG MC. I'd already have that free night if it was anything but Amex.
