The holiday program was ended for good? Or just temporarily on hold as "the holiday" has ended and it will come back out of hiatus next year?

But I totally agree, a notice that the program is unavailable would be decent. Everything less looks like the reservation system is broken and nobody noticed, which does not instill confidence in me as a customer.
