If passengers believe those Ray Machines will be properly, adequately or timely calibrated -- good luck to you with that. Call us in fifteen years and let us know how that third arm is doing.

GED flunkies? Harsh, maybe, but as I understand it a high school degree is not required for TSA employment.

Regarding the "isolated" Cedars Sinai over dose incdient, that is hardly isolated. Google such incidents. They are, unfortunately, all too common, at hospitals employing top line techs. Law firms advertise for such patients, showing just how common the over doses are.

But the TSA says its not an issue, so no one should worry. The machines were "tested." (Actually, there is no peer review literature on the machines and the Hopkins testing the TSA points to is now disavowed by Hopkins, since all they did was measure dose, not effect.) And, after all, look at the TSAs success record to date, surely we should simply listen and obey.
