If the new UA keeps E+, this is exactly what's going to happen on CO planes. Particularly, on the 73's, I predict a smaller F section while adding E+. That's the only way to make it profitable for the old CO aircraft.
12 F seats on 738's is pretty pathetic if you ask me, E+ or not.
This goes in line with my belief that post merger if you don't fly 100k each year your liklihood of receiving a complimentary upgrade will be so low it won't even be worth considering it a benefit.
