I don't see why not wear them in J. I also don't see the point of wearing PJs at home, since that's in private. I only wear them on a plane, and wearing underwear kind of defeats the purpose of PJs.

Put your underwear in the PJ bag. BA does give PJs in a bag, don't they? (It's been a year since my last BA F flight so I can't recall.)
