I resemble that remark!
Seriously - it's amazing to me that there's hostility. It took me a good 6 months before thinking about asking questions that I legitimately didn't know and was greeted with "You should have searched for this" and other remarks.
I guess it breaks down into two camps: Those of us who like AA so much that we'd like to share our enthusiasm and knowledge with others and there are those who like AA so much that they want to keep a good thing to themselves.
