A question for the experts: I have been working on several Europe runs and was very frustrated that although I could price decent routings ORD-LON on Expedia.com or Thestoremaker.com, identical itineraries were consistently pricing 3x as much on AA.com or Travelocity.com for all the dates I tried.
My runs leave on Saturdays and return the next day, Sunday. I finally called AA about this and after talking to several AA people, was told my itineraries don't qualify for the Saturday nigth stay rule as I leave Saturday but arrive Sunday, and leave Sunday. So Expedia and other sites are wrong in allowing me to book them on Sat. night stay required fares. Is this correct information?
Thanks!
read the fine print in the fare rule. often it says "RETURN VALID 1st SUN" following departure. in which case leave Saturday return Sunday works fine.Originally posted by wanaflyforless:

there would be a problem if you depart after midnight Saturday night [since that officially would be Sunday].
