Pardon my ignorance, but it's been forever since I flew International. My question is this: What exactly do you have to do (customs, ICE), if anything, when leaving the US? Also, Where does this take place? Specifically, I am flying PHL-JFK, then a short (1 hr.) layover in JFK, then on to IST. Is the 1 hour comfortable? Do I need to clear anything in JFK or PHL?
