Fortunately, the rest of my flights over the next 8 weeks are out of Terminal 1 at RDU (Contintental FTL) and I won't have to worry about NoS in that terminal.
I've been in a similar boat. Last several months, I've been on USAir, so I hadn't been in T2 since early June. I was stunned to see what they had done!
I expect to see a mirror image of it in the new section when that opens in Jan. I presume Continental will be moving, as will USAir, so no escape
