Hi everyone!

I've booked a return flight for my partner via the CX website, direct from Incheon to Taipei, in February.

I used my card when booking online, and it was verified by Visa.

I won't be on the flight however. We're taking separate flights there - I booked with China Airlines, but before his ticket could be sorted out, the flight was sold out.

If the credit card is required, going to Taipei won't be a problem as our flights leave at the same time. However, coming back to Incheon, my flight leaves a good 5 hours before my partner's, so it will be impossible for me to be present and show the card at the airport.

If the card is needed, would I simply be able to leave it with my partner for him to show at check-in on the return flight?

Or, will it not be needed at all as the card was verified by Visa at the time of booking?

Any advice or information would be very much appreciated!
