Summer's over, so I wouldn't imagine Snow City's going to have a huge wait.
Another place that has good breakfast/brunch options is
Cafe Croissant in Midtown (Benson and Spenard, just behind the DMV office).
Dinner options do thin out a
little bit after 10pm, but some of Anchorage's better restaurants are open surprisingly late. I'd recommend the following:
Bear Tooth Grill: open until 11:30pm (
menu)
Orso: open until 11pm (
menu)
Glacier Brewhouse: open until 11pm (
menu)
Moose's Tooth: open until 12am (
menu--see links on left navigation bar; blackened halibut pizza highly recommended)
All are excellent choices representing some of the best Anchorage has to offer. I'd look at the menus and see which one suits your mood. Reservations should not be necessary at any of them, especially at that hour (the Teeth do not do reservations anyway).
If you did not already plan to do so, you really should rent a car while in Anchorage. Off-season rentals, especially on weekends, are SUPER cheap--cheaper than taking a cab down to the Marriott (which does not have an airport shuttle). You'll also need a car to get to the Teeth or Cafe Croissant. I'll tout AutoSlash here (click the link in my signature), but you can also check Travelocity or Kayak. You'll be surprised at the deals you see.
