Hi, I stayed at the bananafansea 4 or 5 times between 2002-2006, the location is excellent at the quieter end of chaweng beach but only 10 mins along the beach into the centre of chaweng. Not sure what it's like these days but by the photos on the link it appears that the resort has been renovated since my last stay.
