The Montgomery County cops planted a mini-bottle of alcohol on my younger brother when he was underage. They offered him diversion (24 hours community service and a fine) but he opted to go to trial. About a month after the video of the stop was requested, the DA dropped the charge. Guess he watched the video before handing it over.
Funny how that works. There is a reason why Maryland cops are misusing the wiretap laws to arrest people for video recording them in action.
