I need to travel back to MCT from PIT in about 2 weeks. I am ~33K EQM short of 1K on UA and I'm not sure if I'll be traveling anymore before the end of the year. My typical flight PIT-IAD-DXB-MCT and return yield about 15K EQMs. Can't be that hard to get an extra 15K in there.

I'm sure it is possible, I'm just not sure on how to approach it and get a decent price.
