Also on Atwells Ave., if you're not in the mood for Italian, is Chef Ho's (Chinese, if it's not obvious from the name) at #243. Been there twice, the first with local friends who suggested it. Very good both times.
We also like Rue d'Espoir, a French bistro at 99 Hope Street. (Its name is the street name translated into French.)
