Yes, I came from LHR on Friday and at the gate they didnt even check my name off (or run the BP through the machine they usually do), just looked at the BP and waved me through onto the plane. I am not sure how they trace missing passengers with this procedure?
Same here out of LHR, have both parts of the BP. I guess with everything being electronic and barcodes being scanned, it doesn't really require keeping hard copies.
