While there have been quite a few enhancements in this announcement there just isn't a wow-factor or killer feature to compel me to upgrade.
To me, the wow factor is in the price. $229 for an 8GB device with two cameras, a hi-res screen and the kind of apps Apple has to offer is just an insane bargain. I paid over $600 for my first iPod (imported into Europe for me the week it came out). For all the complaining I do about Apple, I have to thank them for what they have done to the mobile player market.
After all these years, there still isn't a company in the world that has made anything that can compete with the iPod touch. I *still* think the Zune HD is better for music, but as an allround device, the Touch is king.
