Is it the experience of the board that it is worthwhile to purchase an upgrade from Y+ to C on a flight that shows?:

i.e. completely sold out.

I can get it very cheap; 135 euro for CPH-BKK. Would that be simply to lure me into paying their service fee?
Would I have a higher probabiliy of op-up, being EBG, now that everything is sold out?

What would you do?

The return flight shows:

The price there for Y+ to C is €142. This looks like an op-up or at-gate miles up flight, or am I mistaken and should go for the UTO?
