Was there for two nights July 31-Aug 2. Decent hotel- and upon checking in was told that they could not accommodate my request of an upgrade to a Ocean View room... however I could have a King Suite on the Penthouse floor (non-ocean-view). Granted I was with two others- (my parents) but I was staying only one night... so I agreed to the upgrade. It was entertaining going to the room as I did not have them with me at checkin... so when I told htem the floor # (19) and they looked for it... there wasn't- only the penthouse level. They were impressed... - Nice large room with what seemed to be museum pieces in there (various art, fossils, etc).

And when they failed to provide cookies at checkin... and went back to ask for them- they gave me as many as I wanted

Breakfast 'buffet' was alright- enjoyed the island flavored yogurts - and some of the danishes were very light and flaky but poor busing of tables (my dad and I created quite the stack )

Parking however is very annoying though at $27 a night...
