For the great advice posted here. Returned from 2 weeks in your country recently and enjoyed it immensely. Would have loved to stay longer, but at least now I know where to go back to next time.

Great food, great roads, and a lot of very nice people. Some of the most lovely architecture I've ever seen, and a deep devotion to history with fabulous museums.

I guess we Americans stand out pretty badly - as most of the time when I went into stores/restaurants people just started off speaking English. I know just enough German to be polite and take care of my basic needs - but it wasn't ever an issue.

Truly a wonderful experience!
