What, you mean the Swedes and the Swiss discriminate against Americans? I must admit that I have never seen that happen, but then I am from Europe. Generally, I have noticed that North American guests seem to have some of the best suites in European hotels, but perhaps that is due to them having good travel advisors.
As a US citizen who is in Sweden often, I find there to be a huge amount of pro-American bias, of which I am the beneficiary, especially when dealing with Swedes under the age of 40 or so.
