i did a little research on experian today and found out that they do not offer their fico scores any longer to consumers. you can buy a score on their site, but it is not the same one they sell to banks and lenders, so its useless. since experian seems to pop up on all of my amex and chase cards this is highly annoying. i dont like being totally in the dark on something as important as my credit. i know my TransUnion score is 775, but I have no clue what my experian score is. Could it be say 100 points less due to 5 inquiries in the past 3 months? i guess really u do have to apply for cards until you get a denial and then request a copy of your credit report, but I dont know if they just give u the report, the score may not be included. frustrating.
