There seems to be some confusing advice. Team Dev members says jb will then permit you to unlock all 3G and 3Gs phones.

However, according to above site, if you're 3Gs is running the newer boot loader, i.e. 359.3.2, then you can jb but not unlock.

I'm trying to get clarification and appreciate if anyone can help with this?

Update: carrier unlock works -jailbreakmatrix.com apparently hasn't updated their site as jb was only released last night. Another happy camper here....the entire process took less than a few minutes and painless.
