I recall over 20 years ago playing at one place downtown (Las Vegas Club?), that was supposed to have the most liberal BJ game in town. I played there once, but it didn't seem to make that much difference to me.

I used to know a guy who loved the 2-4 payout at the Binion that they had during the Christmas season, on low bets ($5-$10, I think).

I started playing BJ at the Western when I was 15 or so. <cough> $1 a hand, and the dealers they were training were pretty bad, so they'd give up 3-4% in mistaken pay/push bets per hour.
