Oh dear. Maybe next time I will call the thread "EU and US Department of Transportation grant conditional antitrust immunity to oneworld members American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia, Royal Jordanian and Finnair".

But there is a reason why everyone is saying oneworld since this is the headline of the official DOT release:
DOT Approves oneworld Antitrust Immunity Application.
Further down:
The Department found that granting antitrust immunity to the oneworld alliance will provide travelers and shippers with a variety of benefits, including lower fares in some markets, new nonstop routes, improved services and better schedules.
