Another reason to boycott SQ.
The strange thing is that both these routes aren't mentioned (with a surcharge) on the *A website, and the book and fly tools gives no surcharge for these routes?
The tabel they use for SQ:
Singapore and San Francisco / Houston - 600 USD
Singapore and Los Angeles / New York - 900 USD
Seoul and San Francisco - 500 USD
Hong Kong and San Francisco - 500 USD
Moscow and Houston - 500 USD
Singapore and Paris / Milan / Barcelona / Zurich / Frankfurt / London / Moscow - 500 USD
Singapore and Delhi / Mumbai - 300 USD
Singapore and Hong Kong / Beijing - 300 USD
Singapore and Tokyo / Seoul - 300 USD
Singapore and Auckland / Melbourne / Sydney - 400 USD
But I think you're completely right, not a good deal.
I also saw the price of the *A RTW ticket go up with about EUR 400 for Business / 29000mi at the start of July, with no advanced notification on the website.... so paying another surcharge is not really what I'm after :-).
